Project status: foundation in development

The city
remembers.

A persistent dystopian civic roleplay simulator where the world keeps moving, work changes hands, and authority leaves a record.

Korvain is an original authoritarian city and its surrounding towns—built as a living civic simulation, not a lobby that resets when the last player leaves.

The first playable district is deliberately small: an apartment building, a general store, a warehouse loading area, and several streets. Within it, persistent residents keep schedules, essential work continues, goods take up real space, and the server owns the truth.

Live inside the machinery.

01

A city that persists

Money, identity, ownership, laws, jobs, weather, and the people who live here continue on the authoritative server.

02

A role, not a script

Take a job from an NPC, rent an apartment, move physical goods, and live with the civic systems that keep running without you.

03

Consequences with a record

The world remembers what belongs where, who has permission, and what those in authority choose to do.

The foundations are being laid.

Korvain is in active development. The current project contains its Unreal Engine C++ foundation, authoritative simulation primitives, SQLite persistence, and a direct-connect menu shell. It is not yet a playable civic simulation.

Alpha 0.1 is aimed at a self-hostable district for 2–8 players on Windows x64 and Apple Silicon Macs. Dates will come after the systems earn them.

Help build a city that outlives the session.

If Korvain is the kind of patient, systems-driven roleplay world you want to see exist, you can help NyxVulpine fund its development.
